Astrozap’s multi-output controller is the industry’s #1 dew heater control solution. With one unit, you can regulate the heat output on multiple dew heaters at the same time. This allows you to prevent dew formation on your telescopes’ optical paths, mount controllers, laptop or anything else that is not dew-friendly. For convenience, a 2” Velcro strip is included so that you have the option to place the controller on your telescope set up.

Recommendations:

The Astrozap dew controller is designed to operate ONLY on 12 volts DC. Do not power with any other voltage. Also, you may need multiple dew heater controllers if you are operating a 12” SCT. The longer heater straps tend to push the the limits of the controller’s heating capabilities. If you have any concerns about this, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Mounting:, a ¼-20 threaded insert on the bottom can be used to attach to a dovetail, etc. Velcro straps are another good solution when a hard mount won't work.
